Windoor Guangzhou 2018
The 24th China Window Door Facade Expo 2018 in Guangzhou was the perfect start to INDUSTRIAL + ASIA 2018 to make innovative Australian design solutions accessible to architects, developers and construction professionals across China and Southeast Asia.
There was very strong interest in Australian design from thousands of professional visitors at the well-organized event, March 11-13 in Guangzhou, China. Representing our client, TILT Industrial Design, the Dominion House team made it their business to explain the vision and capabilities of Australia’s leading industrial designer for architects. The Australian-made stainless steel TILT Skylight on display at the booth was a major draw-card, and discussions flowed easily from the virtues of Newcastle steel fabrication to the possibilities of design collaboration on projects across south and central China.
‘Our experience alongside TILT with Wangfu Beijing proved to me that Australian SME’s can compete in Asia on their own terms. Not only is Australian design valued in Asia, but also Australian-manufactured goods at the premium end of the market. With visitors standing two-three deep at our booth in Guangzhou, our Shanghai office has its pick of qualified leads to follow-up in the weeks ahead, and we’re excited for the future prospects in Asia for an innovative and ambitious design firm like Tilt Industrial Design’, said Jeremy Barnett, Managing Director at Dominion House.
Since 2005, Dominion House offers its clients areas of capability in foreign markets, within which they can operate with the full advantage of local knowledge. and an immediate presence in Asia without the risk. INDUSTRIAL + ASIA 2018 is a market entry strategy for companies prepared to invest in their own success in Asia, and features of the program include: 12-month minimum engagement, non-exclusive representation, total transparency (buyers pay direct), and designed for maximum rebate under the Export Market Development Grant.
